Atom Power – Fuel Additive For Cars And Motorbikes

Friday, February 25th, 2011

Atom Power is a fuel addictive that is the result of years of research and development by the Korean Institute of Energy Research. It has achieved multiple awards and has been approved by TUV SUD PSB Singapore. Official tests have shown that it is best to pour in it into the petrol tank before fuel-in. With just 1-2ml for every litre of petrol, fuel consumption reduction has been proven to be 35%. On top of that, fuel efficiency had also shown improvement by 55%. What this means is lesser petrol will be needed to cover distance usually done without using it.

With the same amount of Atom Power to every litre of petrol, your vehicle can have excellent cold start-off. You can bid goodbye to sludge in fuel tank, build-ups on fuel injectors and diminishing carbon deposits. This process will also prolong your vehicle’s servicing schedule and you will experience the actual power from the fresh draw of clean fuel. In addition to that, not only will you have more distance travelled, Atom Power reduces 40% to 70% of smoke emission. Atom Power being a special organic compound which has achieved ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 Standards, is also environment friendly, thus, it has been certified Green Label Product proudly made in Korea.

This fuel re-formulator also improves the engine’s life span. It changes the fuel molecular structure that increases efficiency in combustion. This enables optimum level performance that in turn results to cost savings. What’s more, it has been tested using Aprilia RSV4 and Ducati 916. These two Superbikes were put through a 20 lap track test conducted at Pasir Gudang Johor Circuit (Malaysia). Both motorbikes displayed outstanding results!! Not only will the fuel efficiency improved; there were also increased engine power, smoother acceleration and more power!! Atom Power also kept the bikes’ temperatures down by 15 Degrees Celsius to 20 Degrees Celsius!!

Another test was conducted out at PSB Singapore. This time a car, An Audi (A42.OMU4DR), was put through a test. The performance of the car was carried out before and after adding the additive. The fuel consumption was determined by the amount of fuel used over a measured distance. Driving was kept at a constant speed of between 80 to 90 km/h. There was also improvement in engine noise at idle mode which was measured by a QUEST sound level meter Type 1. Distance travelled by the Audi car was 261.4 km before adding Atom Power. 21.04 litres of petrol was consumed which leads to a fuel efficiency of 12.42 km per litre of petrol. The noise level in idle mode was 73.1 db (A).

After adding Atom Power, the same car covered 263 km with a fuel consumption of 13.61 litres of petrol!! Thus it was calculated to have an improvement in fuel efficiency of 19.32 km per litre of petrol!! Engine noise in idle mode was registered at 69.4 db (A)!!

Many people were sceptical at first on hearing the effectiveness of Atom Power. Yet many have tried and true enough have found out Atom Power indeed is a remarkable fuel saving agent!! The elusive search for a simple yet effective product has helped us to beat the ever rising petrol prices and contribute to the care for our Mother Nature.By Hanafi Ahmat

Cold Flow Improvers – Why Are They So Important?

Friday, February 25th, 2011

Cold flow improvers are designed to keep diesel engines running when the temperature drops, so that people can still get on with their daily lives.

Here’s what you need to know.

1. Cold flow improvers are included in diesel additives to allow diesel engines to be used when the temperature is well below freezing.

2. At very low temperatures diesel start to turn from a liquid to solid waxy crystals. When this happens the engine is less likely to work as the fuel is more like a gel than a liquid.

3. The waxy crystals will clog the fuel filters and so the engine will stop working. This can be catastrophic for the emergency services, those in remote places, or whilst transporting vital supplies.

4. As well as diesel in vehicles affects diesel being stored or handled too. Refineries and forecourts need to ensure that their diesel will pour so that it can be pumped into vehicles.

5. They lower the fuel pour point of diesel. This means that the fuel will stay as a liquid at lower temperatures, so that it doesn’t turn into waxy crystals.

6. This happens because the cold flow improvers chemically alter the size and the shape of the crystals so that they aren’t so damaging.

7. Diesel additives with cold flow improvers will help the engine to function better in extreme wintery conditions. This means that the engine is under much less strain and will produce less exhaust smoke.

8. As well as in cars, buses, lorries, generators, and snowploughs rely on these improvers in order to keep them on the road. Imagine what would happen if those providing vital services such as the ice road truckers had to wait until the weather warmed up?

9. Diesel additives are needed so that engines can still be used in very cold countries. Without them, countries would grind to a halt, as vital supplies couldn’t be produced, or be transported to their destination, and other services wouldn’t be able to operate.

10. Cold flow improvers are therefore essential in cold countries, so that life can go on even when it’s snowy and the temperature is well and truly sub zero. The next time you have to scrape the ice off your car just be grateful that you’ll still be able to drive it.

Now you know more about them, it’s easy to see why cold flow improvers are so important.

Tips for Sharing the Road With Cyclists

Sharing the Road with Cyclists

There are many benefits of riding a bicycle. It is a great form of exercise to strengthen your heart and legs, helps to cut down on pollution, and also decreases traffic on the road. Even with these advantages, riding a bike on the same roads as motor vehicles creates a series of risks and inherent dangers that could result in serious injuries.

The majority of accidents between bicycles and automobiles happen when both try to share the road. Drivers often don’t see cyclists and in towns that aren’t known as bicycle communities, drivers may not be used to sharing the road and don’t know how to act.

Road Safety Tips

While motorists should be aware of cyclists and be respectful to their presence on the road, cyclists can also do a lot to ensure they are safe on the road. For example, you should never ride your bike in heavy traffic if you are inexperienced or not wearing proper safety gear like a helmet. Some other helpful safety tips include:

* The motorist and cyclist both should obey traffic laws by not speeding, changing lanes without signaling, or running stop lights and signs.
* Cyclists should never ride the opposite way of traffic. Always ride with traffic.
* Motorists should treat bikes just like another vehicle, leaving a generous space in between their car and the cyclist.
* Cyclists need to wear safety gear and never ride without reflectors or flashing lights, especially at night.

Everyone needs to learn to share the road regardless of what form of transportation they choose. If you are involved in an accident because of a negligent driver, you may have grounds for legal action.

Mud Tires – What Are The Best Types?

Friday, February 25th, 2011

Mud tires will be required by drivers who are thinking about doing off-road driving, which means the motor vehicle is needed to traverse some rough terrains. Pebbles, stones and mud are just a few of many stumbling-blocks that should be considered. Obviously, this is not referring to regular driving or riding, but for journeys which are undertaken because of personal inclinations or during off-road racing.

A very important consideration when it comes to off-road racing would be having the ability to maintain balance and remain upright over rough and irregular terrain. With these tires, this will become a simple task for drivers and bikers. Besides undergoing physically demanding training to be able to maintain balance, individuals have to be conscious about their use of tires.

The highest quality tires are the ones that provide optimum traction and clearance. This alone might not assist riders since these tires have to be coupled with other compatible parts as well as an accurate framework. The taller tires offer improved clearance beneath the framework and differential. Wider tires and different tire tread structures will increase traction. Quite often, mud tires will be after market components which are fitted in the vehicle according to requirement. If you are thinking about a replacement tire, fender clearance must be considered.

In addition to this, individuals have to give consideration to selecting a design that is capable of managing maximum up and down traveling and side movements. Besides their capability to perform on the mud terrains, these are also perfect for rocky and deep snowy roads. They might not have the ability to hold during rain and could be extremely harmful in this kind of condition. Aside from these hindrances, depending on the tread in the mud tires some types will make a lot of noise. This will not create a great deal of problem, since they are generally utilized on dirt tracks and noise will be the least concern for drivers or riders in these areas.
